Read more about this new Blast integration and how ZetaChain pushes towards full interoperability for blockchain development!

Exciting news from Blast – we’ve expanded our network selection by integrating ZetaChain into our portfolio! This addition opens up a realm of possibilities for builders eager to explore and innovate within the ZetaChain ecosystem, leveraging our robust platform.

ZetaChain – Redefining Interoperability

Designed to facilitate omnichain smart contract interoperability, ZetaChain allows seamless communication and interaction between various blockchains, including those that support smart contracts, such as Ethereum and adjacent Layer 2 rollups, Solana, Terra, and Algorand, as well as non-smart contract blockchains like Bitcoin and Dogecoin. This interoperability is achieved through the use of a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism, alongside a framework of observers and signers that interface with external blockchains.

The platform employs observers to monitor external blockchains for specific events, transactions, and state changes at given points in time. These observations are then aggregated and a consensus is reached within the ZetaChain network, ensuring accurate and verifiable cross-chain interactions. In parallel, ZetaChain utilizes signers who manage a collective Threshold Signature Scheme (TSS) key. This key enables the platform to authenticate messages and transactions sent to external chains, effectively allowing ZetaChain to operate as a normal account or address on these external platforms.

Leverage ZetaChain Network with Blast’s Public and Dedicated APIs

ZetaChain developers can now access ZetaChain Mainnet and Testnet endpoints within Blast Public APIs as well as in their dedicated accounts. Below you can find a list of features and capabilities currently available:

  • Core API: high-performance core APIs that deliver optimized throughput and reduced latency for transactions on ZetaChain, alongside real-time data, transaction history, and network status.
  • Debug API: access to RPC methods for inspecting and debugging, while being able to set specific flags during runtime.
  • Archive Nodes: access to historical transaction information on the ZetaChain blockchain, from the genesis block to the current one.
