Blast is excited to announce the integration of Dymension Hub into its suite of blockchain networks. This integration aims to provide a robust middle layer of RPC infrastructure aimed at builders and infrastructure companies alike. Let’s dive into what this means for builders and why it’s set to be a game-changer.

What is Dymension Hub and why is it important?

Dymension Hub is a Proof-of-Stake Layer 1 modular blockchain built to empower, assist, and service RollApps (L2s). With Blast’s custom and public APIs, developers now have instant access to essential blockchain data, making it easier than ever to build, launch, deploy, and run their own RollApps.

Benefits of building on Dymension Hub

Autonomy: By building their own RollApp on Dymension, developers benefit from maximum flexibility and minimum overhead. This allows for the creation of highly customized applications tailored to specific needs without the complexities associated with traditional blockchain infrastructure.

Security: Dymension Hub acts as a settlement layer for RollApps, validating transaction blocks and helping to achieve network consensus. All RollApp funds are secured by the validators of Dymension, using Dymension’s underlying consensus mechanism while maintaining their own custom execution logic. This ensures a robust and secure environment for all transactions.

Liquidity: One of Dymension’s key features is its embedded Automated Market Maker (AMM), designed to help RollApps with efficient asset routing, price discovery, and shared liquidity for the entire ecosystem. This integration ensures that RollApps have access to a dynamic and liquid market environment, promoting seamless operations and growth.

RollApps are equipped with pre-defined modules to accelerate development, incorporating features such as minting native tokens, on-chain governance, out-of-the-box bridging, and much more. This modularity enhances security and liquidity, making RollApps more efficient than traditional blockchains.

Instead of managing a distributed set of validators, RollApps publish transaction data to a different blockchain, allowing anyone to validate the correctness of the state. This approach reduces the number of network nodes, simplifying the bootstrapping process while ensuring secure user interactions through on-chain data publication.

RollApps are interconnected through a single IBC connection to Dymension, enabling them to bridge to each other and the broader crypto economy. This connectivity streamlines interactions across the ecosystem, fostering a cohesive and efficient network.

Dymension functions similarly to an internet service provider, acting as a decentralized router that connects RollApps to the crypto economy. It enables the vertical integration of modular blockchains, where network and liquidity bootstrapping are combined into a single user experience. This integration significantly reduces the time required to deploy a blockchain, making it possible to launch one in just a few minutes. Through its innovative design and comprehensive features, Dymension streamlines the deployment and operation of RollApps, providing a robust platform for the development and growth of modular blockchains.

Blast APIs for Dymension Hub Builders

Blast provides Dymension Hub builders with public and custom RPC endpoints that grant immediate access to blockchain data, with a fully synced status assured, making it easier than ever to develop and deploy RollApps.

Builders on Dymension Hub can benefit from features and capabilities such as:

  • Core API: custom APIs that offer optimized throughput and reduced latency for transactions on Dymension Hub and enable access to real-time data, transaction history, and network status.
  • Archive Nodes: These nodes retain all historical transaction information on the Dymension Hub from the genesis block to the present, enabling users to query and retrieve any past information.
