Avail Endpoints Are Available in Blast from Day 1
Blast Team
Avail just announced that they are deprecating and decommissioning the Goldberg testnet and starting with May 24th they are transitioning to Turing Testnet, which is intended to serve as a medium to assess Mainnet readiness. Turing endpoints are available in Blast from the first day of the testnet launch to support Avail and their builders in the journey to the Mainnet launch.
As of July 23rd, Avail Mainnet endpoints are also available in Blast. Builders can get free access to public and dedicated endpoints for both Avail Mainnet and Testnet networks.
What is Avail?
Avail is a modular blockchain solution that is intended to connect different ecosystems by providing a modular, scalable, and interoperable platform. It allows modular execution layers to scale and interoperate by using Avail’s Unification Layer concept. This is a unifying tech stack that has the Data Availability (DA) layer at its core, followed by the Nexus unification layer, and Fusion, an additive security layer. Avail anchors the whole Web3 ecosystem with a scalable, cutting-edge data availability layer, ensuring immediate and reliable data availability, and enabling rollups to grow, connect, stay secure, and adjust.
What makes Avail’s Unification Layer concept stand out:
- Avail DA will serve as the foundation of the Avail ecosystem by providing scalable data availability. It utilizes advanced zero-knowledge techniques and KZG Polynomial commitments to guarantee immediate and dependable data integrity.
- Avail Nexus is a specialized zk coordination rollup on top of Avail DA, that consists of a proof aggregation/verification layer and a sequencer selection mechanism that ensure cross-ecosystem settlement.
- Avail Fusion uses the native assets of other secure ecosystems (such as BTC, and ETH) and allows them to contribute to the Avail consensus, to serve and secure the network.
Turing is Avail’s final testing environment, before the mainnet launch. It is concentrated on vetting deployments, stress tests, and scalability assessments.
Turing resembles the upcoming Avail DA Mainnet and will function as Avail’s primary testnet, after the Mainnet launch.
Blast APIs for Avail builders
Blast has integrated the Avail Turing Testnet and Avail Mainnet from Day 1, to support the Avail builders and the Avail ecosystem. We are granting free access to public and dedicated endpoints, and on top of that, we can offer enhanced plans or customized solutions to scale up building (multiple projects, trace capabilities, higher numbers of requests, and many more).
Builders on Turing can benefit from features and capabilities such as:
- Core API: custom APIs that offer optimized throughput and reduced latency for transactions on Avail and enable access to real-time data, transaction history, and network status.
- Archive Nodes: These nodes retain all historical transaction information on the Avail testnet from the genesis block to the present, enabling users to query and retrieve any past information (available with paid plans).

Avail’s mission is to reduce the barriers to entry on the blockchain with their modular methodology and to empower developers to build scalable dApps. Blast supports this mission by offering Avail builders resilient, reliable and distributed infrastructure services at the fastest response times. Keep on building!
