About DIA
From Price Feeds to Random Number Generation, DIA's product offerings cover all oracle needs a Web3 application might require. DIA allows the creation of price feeds for over 3,000+ crypto tokens, 18,000+ NFT collections, 20,000+ traditional assets, Liquid Staked Tokens and more, with the ability to customize each feed for specific protocols and use cases.
With a unique architecture that aggregates raw trade data directly from 80+ sources, such as CEXs, DEXs and NFT marketplaces, DIA offers 100% source transparency and bespoke customization. Any data feed that is publicly accessible can be sourced, regardless of its listing conditions and trading volume - there is no dependency on third-party data providers.
This allows DIA feeds to be fully customized with regards to the mix of sources and methodologies, resulting in tailor-made, high-resilience feeds and thereby setting a new paradigm for blockchain oracles.

Issues faced prior to the Blast partnership
At DIA we are constantly looking for node infrastructure providers due to our unique architectural design requirements. To deliver the aforementioned number of price feeds, DIA's open-source data platform constantly pulls a significant amount of data from different layer 1 and layer 2 networks. A requirement that not all node providers are capable of delivering.
This process of collecting trade from CEXs and DEXs, usually requires a substantial amount of parallel web socket subscriptions, one for each liquidity pool. In the case of Uniswap fork DEXs, we are talking about a few thousand of them in parallel. And the majority of DEXs are Uniswap based.
Most valuable aspects of the Blast partnership
BlastAPI provides DIA with node support, allowing for a data collection process with no rate limits on parallel connections. Not only this, DIA needs to maintain its ability to generate high-confidence price oracles not only for the top tokens but also for less popular ones. If no project can provide oracles for a specific token, no DeFi application will be able to integrate it into their products.
Blast is also highly accurate, which is essential for DIA, as they need to gather precise and correct data to make available for their users.
